Here's Tony Dye's Pinto wagon. He used our Body, Rims, Tires, Valve Covers, Oil Pan, Carburetor, and Fuel Cell.

Tony added the vent holes and made the bumper out of .062 solder.

Headers are out of a Pro Stock Olds kit. Valve covers and carburetor are our resin. Brake cylinders are from an old AMT NASCAR kit.

Close up of R-017 rear rim that Tony added our bead lock to.

Tony's attention to detail is what keeps me on my toes and inspires me to do better. Like this exhaust plate cover with rivets.

I love taking these interior shots.

The front bumper was made out of .062 solder as well.

Clear lexan side panels riveted in place gives a nice place to stick sponsor decals. You can see Tony added a little flair to the quarter panel also.

Russ Smith sent me this Awsome looking 57 Chevy

The next few shots are also from Russ Smith who decided to put a Gremlin on the track. Nice work Russ!

You sure do have a nice trailer and garage area Russ, I'm jealous!

That is one nice set up Russ, Thanks for sharing it with us.

"Clutch" Coomer did extensive rehabilatation on this 50 Chevy modified. Trust me, this is not a box stock build here!

Clutch, you got some meat on there, I bet you couldn't roll it over with a forklift! A BIG FORKLIFT! Nice Work.

Here it is out in the parking lot. Thanks for sending these in Clutch. Excellent work.

From Ed Krause comes the next few pics. This one is a version of the Grant King sprint car. I believe there wer 4 different kits.

This is the super modified kit. I have not built one of these yet but it looks like fun. Nice job Ed.

Top view of the 2 car shows some serious injection going on.

Another 2 car from Ed only this time a Sprint car

You know, I'm going to have to ask Ed about these Sprints. I'm not sure if they're box stock or not.

I believe we got another Grant King. I have a box FULL of parts and still don't have enough to build ONE Grant King Sprint.

Ed, I'm smart enough to know this ain't box stock.

This is before my start of resin so it's either an old ERC body or Ed did the handy work himself.

Looks like a Grant King nose for sure though.

Whatever you did, It's my favorite of your cars so far. I'll be building one like this with my "Skeeter" body.

Here's an excellent lesson on mud detailing from Dick "Weasel" Wessel. Try typing that three times fast.

This car was posted on the forum but I wanted you all to have a better look at it.

Even got mud up on the trunk panel. I know you know it's supposed to be there, But how many of us would have forgot? Come on now.

Foam mud inserts on bead locks makes it look serious don't it?

You can find out how Weasel did this by checking the How To's and Tips in the Short Track Modeling Forum.

Russ Smith sent in this 35 Chevy Sedan with some of my R-001 Rims on it. Thanks for getting them and it looks great Russ!

Russ also tried his luck at making his own decals. He's got his two son's businesses as sponsors. He didn't say what type of printer he used.

I like the double stacked air cleaner, looks real nice Russ, thanks for sharing it with us.

These next 10 "Saturday Night Specials" are from John Burger, from New Braunfels, Texas

Some of you guys are going to recognize these as AMT's old Modified Stocker series.

John's 55 is really nice, I'll see if I can find out what chassis he used and pass it on to you.

65 Ford I believe on a Stocker chassis? John does some really nice clean builds. I know "Weasel" hates that word "clean" though.

If you like this one, you'll need to keep your eyes open for the re-issue coming soon by Model King.

Mopar anyone? I can see some extensive front end work and it looks GREAT!

This is one of my favorites. I got to get John to join the Forum so we can "pick his brain" a little.

I love this car. John this is one I'm copying and throwing some of my tires and rims on.

I think this is a Galaxie body on the Stocker chassis. Is this thing cool or what?

I really like the black and purple paint on this car. This is one wicked looking Mopar. Thanks for sharing these with us John!

Another of Chris Smock's fabulous builds. He say's it's basicly box stock.

I believe this is a 32/33 Sedan body from another kit and the tires are out of a sprint car kit.

I never get tired of looking at Chris's builds. Great Job as usual Chris, and Thanks!

Mark Jeffries 65 Chevelle is race ready with a set of FRW rims and graphics by K-Dog Graphix.

Mark always builds an excellent, realistic build, everytime. I love this K-Dog logo. Got to get one!

Here's a 58 Chevy sent in by Bert Rivers. I'm a fanatic for Orange race cars and I love this one!

Bert Rivers Buick Regal looks great with the Gold foil numbers and Miller sponsorship.

Not many people think to use the GTO as a short track car but Bert Rivers sure pulled it off with this one.
