This scratch built modified body by Rickey McKenzie shows what you can do with sheet stock.

This is some pretty fancy and impressive fabrication. Thanks Rickey.

A real nice hauler and racer from Russ Smith. Really Nice!

Russ told me he wasn't done with this setup yet, but I couldn't resist posting it anyhow.

Here's another super mod by Norman Sterner. This has got to be my favorite of his so far.

I love this whole tiger paint scheme. This is a totally fabricated super mod using very few kit parts!!

John Gorday decided to get "BIG" with this 1/16th scale 55 Chevy. These kits are hard to come by.

Right down to the OK Used Cars artwork, John's done a great job at lettering this car. Nice John.

Rick Tackman did some major slicing and dicing to combine a Monogram Midget with an Edmund's modified.

Also used was an injection system from a 57 Ford kit. This is a real beauty Rick. I'd love to see more of these!

Dick Wessel shows just what a sprint car looks like coming out on a clay track................

...and leaving the track and returning to the pits. D.W. is a real advocate, and pro at slinging mud on a model. NICE!

Need a lift home after a rough night at the track? Give Mark Jeffries a call.

This is a combination of two different tow truck kits, Revell's Midnight Cowboy and a "Snap" Wrecker.

Mark Jeffries box van and Nova sportsman are ready to get to the track. Mark built the box portion from scratch.

This Nova has been massaged a little at the "A" pillars to give it this really fierce look. Great job Mark.

Now here's a guy who's an inspiration for trying something different. Jarrod Thomas used a VW body on his mod chassis.

Jarrod, who's from New Zealand by the way, really comes up with the wildest ideas for his mods and sprints.

How'd you like to see a whole field of these running a feature on dirt? Thanks, Jarrod.

Tony Yocum from Hammond, Indiana might just be a Coors Light man. Awesome paint scheme!

I liked this shot of the "Stars and Bars" and felt I had to include it.

This is one beautiful Chevy there Tony, You did a really great job on it. Thanks for sending it.

Slim Louis, from Memphis is getting us back to the old roots of racing mods again with his #54 .

Louis, this is a really nice clean fantastic build. You never let us down with your work. Thank You.

Russ Smith's next couple builds were built for a challenge on the forum. This paint scheme is for RACING!

What do you mean you didn't see the truck. You could see this truck through your eye lids, I love it Russ!!

I have a real weak spot for 56 Fords and Russ did his usual great job with this as well.

Hooked to the van and headed to the track, Russ has got one nice set up here.

Martin Warner has done some very outstanding detail work to his 32 Ford "Vicky" jalopy.

A little bit of detail on a rim can do so much for it's appearance. Here's a nice closeup for reference.

I realize leather seats and seatbelts are a little harder to accomplish, but what a difference huh?

What about this? Slim Louis sent in this team of 55 Chevies.

Little things like drilling holes where the chrome used to be is an excellent addition.

Slim, always has some fantastic paint schemes and detail that you really have to admire. Thanks Slim

I don't know much about super mods, but this one by Chris smock sure is a beauty.

I'll bet these things could really scream around a track. Awesome work Chris, Thanks.

Another beautiful build from Chris Smock. These wheels are my R-0027's. Thanks for using them Chris.

I love good interior shots like this don't you?

I understand Chris used a resin Cab Over body on this awesome hauler. Not sure who made it though.

Here's another shot of it without the car on it. Chris does some great work doesn't he?

Mark Jeffrie's version of the Red Farmer Fairlane. Mark used my new 62 Fairlane body for this build.

Great work here Mark, you beat me to this build, but I'm glad you did!

Verlin Eaker would sure be tickled that Mark chose to build this version of his ride.

This is going to inspire a whole lot of us who like to build 70/80's short track builds.

My buddy Danny Tarpley is a BIG Earnhardt fan and did this Falcon in honor of oen of Dale's little known first rides.

He used my body, rims, and tires for this build, and decals by Gene Shortt. Ceck out the detail of the rust dripping from the lock holes.

Excellent detail work and weathering work Danny.

Now check out the picture of the real car in the background and see what you think!
